2026 Chinese New Year Celebration

On 13 February 2026, our school came alive with festive joy as students and staff gathered to celebrate Chinese New Year. The celebration was filled with meaningful experiences, hands-on activities and opportunities for students to interact and spread warmth to the community.

One of the highlights of the day was the distribution of oranges to residents of Eunos Crescent and to staff in the school. With smiles and festive greetings, our students presented pairs of oranges to the community. This meaningful outreach activity provided students with authentic opportunities to practice social interaction skills, build confidence, and show care for others.

Back in school, students were engaged in a variety of activities. They packed their own goodie bags, including a gift set sponsored by Trailblazer – Chan Chiew Ping Fund. The experience encouraged independence and decision-making. Students also had the opportunity to taste traditional Chinese New Year snacks, such as pineapple tarts and love letters. A crowd’s favorite was the live egg waffle station, where students and staff enjoyed freshly made egg waffles prepared on the spot. In the classroom, students were engaged in various art and craft activities inspired by Chinese New Year traditions.

The celebration was a blend of cultural learning, community engagement, and joyful experiences. It was heartening to see our students participate actively and confidently throughout the day. Through such celebrations, we continue to nurture values of respect, inclusivity, and community spirit in our students.

Wishing everyone a year filled with happiness, good health and prosperity!
