Start of School Matters
Greetings! I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to each of you, especially the parents / guardians of
new students who join us this year.
Maitri has been officially registered as a school on 15 December 2023, and I am humbled and privileged to
step into the role as Principal of the school. The school’s philosophy is grounded on the belief that every
child is unique and has talents that could be developed and nurtured for each of them to reach their full
potential. This resonates with my educational leadership beliefs in nurturing the holistic development of
every child. My experience as an educator with two and a half decades of teaching, leadership and service
in various schools and at the Ministry of Education headquarters, has strengthened this conviction that every
child can learn.
