Maitri has been officially registered as a school on 15 December 2023, and I am humbled and privileged to assume the role as Principal of the school. The school’s philosophy is grounded on the belief that every child is unique and has abilities and talents that could be developed and nurtured for each of them to reach their full potential. With the right support, guidance and intervention, our students can lead fulfilling lives where they can contribute meaningfully to the best of their abilities.

The school’s philosophy resonates with my educational leadership beliefs shaped over two and a half decades of teaching, leadership and service in various schools and at the Ministry of Education headquarters. The focus is always in nurturing the holistic development of every child.

Our dedicated team of educators and staff is committed to fostering an environment of care and support. We recognise that “it takes a village to raise a child”: Education is a shared responsibility that calls for collaboration of parents and partners. Me and my Maitri team look forward to working collaboratively with parents and partners in providing quality education at Maitri School. 

With our collective dedication, we will strive to polish the star within each child to unlock the full potential and make a positive difference!
