On 15 April 2026, students from M2-7 and M2-18 went on a field trip to Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden. Everyone was excited to learn, play, and explore the garden together. It was a happy day full of outdoor fun.

One of the highlights was the Treehouse Playground. Some students were brave and challenged themselves to climb up the steps and ladder. After that, they had lots of fun sliding down the long slides. Everyone smiled and laughed.
The sand play area was another favourite. Students used their hands to scoop, dig, and pour the sand. This helped them explore different textures and enjoy playing with their friends.

The waterplay area was very exciting too. Many students loved and waited with bated breath for the splash bucket to tip over. They laughed and watched carefully as the water poured down. It was a fun surprise for everyone. In a particularly amusing moment, two students playfully tricked their teacher into standing under the splash bucket, much to everyone’s delight. This shared moment of fun added to the joy of the experience and created a wonderful memory for both students and staff.

The maze was also interesting. Students walked through the paths, made choices, and tried to find their way. This helped them practise problem-solving and being patient.

During the trip, students also practised important self-help skills. They changed their clothes after waterplay and took care of their belongings. These were good chances to learn independence.
The garden was full of trees, plants, and fresh air. Being close to nature helped students feel calm and happy. They could see, touch, and enjoy many things around them.
Overall, the trip to Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden was a wonderful experience. Students learned through play, built confidence, and had a lot of fun together.
